The mince and cheese and steak and cheese both have excellent pastry, sadly thats where the pleasant taste stops. The fillings within both are incredibly bitter and acidic. In my opinion, they were both not worth finishing after a few bites.

Used to be a nice place to stop. The staff was friendly and they provided an awesome service. Now it's very different. The Bred is still good but it's more expensive... well, it's time to find another place or find the previous owners/staff if they are still in the same business.*** update: I really appreciate your quick answer and the explanation. I'm changing the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars and I'll keep buying in your store. The quality of your products is high and I can see you really care of your business. Thanks

Stoked to have found this delicious bakery on our recent trip to Christchurch. Surprising amount of vegan options (just ask the friendly staff and they will tell you what’s vegan). The food is AMAZING!!! I also thought it was very reasonably priced. You won’t be disappointed, highly recommend a visit!

You can always get great baked goods from here. It is a little pricey but highly worth it as the breads are always super tasty and last a good amount of time back home. Their filled donuts are also divine!

Not advertised or signposted but they have a surprising amount of vegan-friendly pastries, about 1/3 of their cabinet usually! Including the berry and custard danish!

Absolute delicious, real homemade tasting food! I had to ask the girls name who serves us, no matter how busy she is, she always greets us with a huge smile and makes us feel so welcome. She takes the time for my daughter's to choose their favourite cookies and we always follow her recommendation to try something new. Thank you Tanya, for your amazing service. We absolutely love the food at Brumby's Barrington but return for your amazing service and patience. ❤️

So glad I found this bakery!! I love the sausage rolls and lamb pie. The staff are friendly and we were really impressed with the selection available in store. Will definitely be back!
