Lovely little spot to take the kids to the beach. Away from the big crowds of the Mt and Papamoa. Apparently the fishing is pretty good, so the beach can have a few surf casting rods lined up and down the beach. Longdrop toilet was clean and tidy. Rubbish bin looked to be emptied regularly, helping to keep the beach free of rubbish. Hidden little gem really. Perhaps I shouldn't be writing this public review...

Nice quiet spot, out of the way. Dog friendly. However not a good swimming spot due to its remoteness and having a deep drop off. Fishing now this is pretty good. As is being able to launch a boat too. One of the best views of Whakaari (White island) as it steams.

Beautiful spot to pull over and camp for a couple days. Take insect spray. There is no toilets.

Nice place to stop for a lunch break if your driving past. Park up on the grass and looks straight down onto the surf and beach. Was no one around when we were there.

Awesome, out of the way little beach access. Room to park my Horsetruck & enjoy a good beach ride & swim on the horses. Lovely big wide beach with only the the odd longline fisherman to watch out for! A few little river outlets to make the ride interesting. Great little place for a day out with the horses!

Good place to fish, friendly locals a toilet, rubbish bin and table great place to picnic.
