Highly recommend Woodstocks. Chrissie is amazing, and so obliging.They are the first wood merchants we've ever had that really did deliver dry wood. Most of them drop it and run, before the birds can start singing.Chrissie makes sure you're happy with the load ~ before she tips it.Even if you have a narrow driveway, Chrissie can get the truck down it! Our driveway was built for skateboards (well, an Austin 10, really, but they're about the same size!), and she brings that truck right down, and drops the wood where we want it.

I was fobbed off with delivery times too and waited around all day for a load of wood that was eventually delivered in the dark. Worst of all was when it did arrive Chrissy gave me a huge lecture about buying my wood in the summer. I paid $425 - top dollar for a load of wood that was supposed to be 50/50 Mac and pine. She said it was at least 50% pine" and that they were "very frugal with their Mac and Gum" so who knows how much hard wood was actually in there - I feel ripped off

Unprofessional. They didn’t turn up to first arranged delivery or bother to follow this up with a phone call. I then eventually rang them to rebook another delivery day, but they again didn’t turn up and didn’t bother to contact me. I therefore cancelled the order and let them know I was very disappointed with their service, and got an unapologetic, unpleasant and unprofessional reply in return.

Watch out for these guys. They tell you they have wood so you pay the bank deposit of $520 and are told delivery will be 4 days later. When delivery is not forthcoming you finally get through to the husband two days later (after phone tennis with the wife) and he then brushes you off and tells you it will be another 8 days and he'll get his wife to ring me. Still no wood and no contact, Talk about a couple of amateurs. Be Warned
