Amazing villas - all individually owned. Awesome for family holidays when you need multiple houses. The pool was great - and the pool house was awesome, with a fridge, bbqs and ice machine. All of the houses are spacious and high spec. They are managed by a couple who live off site. The location couldn't be better - very short walk to all the best parts of Russell, and a short drive to the amazing long beach.

We loved our time at Chapel cottage! The cottage is quite large and has a good layout, it is near a quiet road and is a short walk into town (2-3 minutes) our daughter loved the shared heated pool and spa, both were cleaned each day. Long Beach is worth a visit and is only a 15 minute walk. Ideally the cottage could have been a bit cleaner. We would definitely be coming back.

Just completed a 3 night stay at Chapel Cottage Russell, we loved the design of the cottage so much that we would love to know who the architects were. We thought the cottage was beautifully furnished, and had everything one would need while on holiday, also the cleanliness was exemplary,with surrounding gardens immaculate, nothing could be faulted,Thank you Lesley and the team for a very enjoyable stay, we hope to return again in the future.With best regardsArthur and Christine Schofield

Great accommodation and location is close to everything. Very clean and well appointed cottages which are more like houses. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended

Our new son-in- law wanted to find a quality place to stay on our long weekend stay in the Bay of Islands.This house in Russell just oozed quality everywhere.A lovely welcome parcel of local products there to greet us and it was well equipped with everything possible to ensure an enjoyable stay.Very impressed and will certainly stay here on a future visit to New Zealand from our home in South East England...

Absolutely awesome villa. There were lots of welcome treats on the dining table and in the rooms. Very comfortable. Very well decorated and maintained facilities. Could not fault anything. Great value for money. Highly recommended. Two minute walk to town.

Russell is beautiful and the cottage is well furnished. We hired a 4 bedroom cottage for a family holiday through airbnb. At checkout, I had a negative review left on my profile without notice, without prewarning - I left the owner/manager 2 messages - clearly a misunderstanding. No return calls. It's a nice place but service is arrogant and not that visitor friendly. I could be the exception as there was a misunderstanding with checkout, but seems to be an overreaction by the property.
