Ellie Atelier - Bridal & Alterations

I commissioned Ellie to make my wedding dress for May 2023 based off of her design Pearl". We started the process in October 2022

I came to Ellie for urgent help with my wedding dress that had been poorly altered by someone else. I received my dress from the other seamstress and contacted Ellie over Easter weekend after seeing the tulle skirt had been cut crooked, uneven and too short at the front by another well known alteration company. It was hard to fix because it was multiple layers of tulle so it was cut rather than hemmed. I was due to leave the country for my wedding in less than a week. Ellie responded to my email for help so quickly and made time to see me and look at the dress over Easter weekend. She replaced multiple tulle panels and her repairs were seamless - she saved my dress and made it look how it always should have. She turned the dress around in only 2 days - she knew we were flying out so made sure to get me to come back and try it after 2 days just incase it needed further work but it was perfect. She was an angel - so kind, helpful and talented. She saved my wedding dress and my wedding from disaster! I would highly recommend her. I also noticed she had many beautiful gowns she had designed and created hanging in her studio - she does beautiful work and is a joy to work with. Thank you Ellie - I can’t thank you enough!
