Looking for the best kebab in Christchurch? Look no further than Zak's Kebab House! My husband and I recently visited this highly recommended spot at the start of the month and we were blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a complimentary cup of hot tea. And let me tell you, if the tea is any indication of what's to come, you're in for a treat.Not only did we enjoy delicious food, but we also had a chance to chat with the father and son team who run the place. Their passion and love for what they do are evident in every bite. Our favorites included the mouthwatering Lamb Shawarma and their homemade Baklava for dessert. We also couldn't resist trying their Jordan-style Souvlakis and homemade falafel. Every bite was bursting with flavor.If you're looking for an incredible meal, we highly recommend Zak's Kebab House. We'll definitely be coming back for more.

Zak's Kebab House
A great place for Shawarma and Souvlaki. They are flavorful. Tried the chicken, lamb and falafel options. The meat was fresh and juicy. Waiting time was around 10 minutes.

Had the chicken and lamb over salad for 17.99 NZD. Cooked to order and tasted very fresh. Enough portion to feed two!

Wonderful little shop, very friendly staff and the complementary tea tastes wonderful. Delicious food too and not the standard greasy flavours, but lots of hints of different spices. Great value for money.

Fresh tasting food, excellent customer service. First time seeing a kebab shop making fresh falafels on the spot. Chips needed a bit more salt but taste was great. Kunafeh is good.Chef is doing an excellent job. While there a few people had to tell the chef how nice the food was.

Seriously great Mediterranean food, I work nearby and it's now a regular lunchtime visit. The service is amazing, they remember your order and are genuinely nice guys. The lamb is super tender and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

We came all the way from Germany to try Zak‘s Kebab. Just kidding, we read the reviews on google and thought we gonna give it a try. We weren’t disappointed, very fresh, delicious, the meat was melting in your mouth and the bread was very good. Very nice owner and service, definitely recommend Zak‘s Kebab Shop!

I'm so grateful for you Christchurch folk reviewing this place and putting it on the map for us clueless tourists. Had the wrap and chips and bottle of soft drink for less than $20. Top notch food. Was a cold day so they offer complementary hot tea as well. Very happy with this place.
