We were heading south so rocked up with no tickets or booking. You can pay on the ferry by eftpos or cash.No need for tie downs, just make sure you leave your bike in gear and you’ll be fine.

The lady that worked there was so friendly and great to talk to. The ferry was so easy to access and drive onto. Our first time going on the ferry and was such a breeze. Also didnt take long to get to the other side.

We used this ferry to cut a substantial amount of driving off our journey, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the ferry to arrive. Loading was quick and easy. Prices for a car is $7 if you’re a local but visitors are charged $21!

Relaxing ferry runs every 1/2 hour and ignores schedule (GREAT!) when there is busy traffic and they just keep running. Excellent and nice crew and nice people to chat to while aboard….some from other parts of the world.
