Pets In The City

We absolutely love PITC! They have taken the best care of our anxious senior dog during weekly daycare and for stays in the hotel. The team there are awesome and I couldn’t recommend them more!

I booked my very much loved dog into Pets In The City Mt Wellington at short notice, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The team were able to arrange for a fast-tracked assessment to make sure my dog was going to be a good fit with the team and the other pups at the facility. I was kept informed throughout the process and I was impressed with the team's kindness but thorough attention to detail - things you really want when you're an anxious dog owner! Ultimately I was able to go away relaxed and comfortable that my dog was being cared for and kept safe. I highly recommend these guys and I can't thank them enough for taking such great care of my dog.

The staff are amazing. I love how they post pictures every day so I can see how my pooch is doing. They really take great care of Bailey. 100% recommended

First time ever my dog has been taken into a place to get groomed etc, we normally do it ourselves but thought we would try this out and at first she was scared but when finished she came out wagging her tail and smelling fresh and clean. Thank you guys so much and we will definitely be back to wash her and our other boy with use every month :) Super fast also.

Brought my dog Kyro back to PITC for the second time and they did not disappoint. Loved seeing photos of my dog having a blast with all the other doggy’s. Will definitely be back again :)

Hadley, our golden lab, absolutely LOVES going to Pets in the City Mt Wellington. As soon as we turn down the driveway he cannot wait to get out of the car and go and see all of his new friends. It is honestly such a relief knowing how excited he is to go in. It takes the worry out of leaving him for an extended period of time over christmas because we know he is going to be loved and well cared for - and you get facebook photo updates too! We know he has lots and lots of fun because he is always exhausted when he gets home!We also appreciate that we can drop off and pick up whenever as most other places have quite strict slots that may not always suit. Would definitely recommend PITC to anyone looking for a loving place to take care of their pets.

I always feel so comfortable bringing my little pup here. Reade, Olivia and the staff are awesome. They’re really accomodating and I feel like they have a lot of love for all the doggo’s that come through their doors which is really important to me. I left my little Cavoodle at Pets in the City Mt Wellington for a few hours and when I came to pick him up he was sat in a little room with no toys and no staff with 8 other dogs all barking. I asked why he was in there and not the park with the other dogs and they said he had got scared when all the other dogs turned up. I asked how many dogs there were and they said 40!! I asked them why there wasn’t any staff in the room with my dog and they said “we can’t be with them 24/7”!! I think that’s outrageous! I’m paying for you to look after my dog, if I wanted to leave him on his own I’d just keep him at home. Could you imagine picking your child up from daycare and the teacher says something like that?! He also smelled horrible so I gave him a bath immediately when we got home and he was so thirsty like he hadn’t had a drink all day. I could tell he was distressed when I picked him up so I cancelled his booking for next week and won’t be going back.

Our German Shepherd Zumas first day today and had a first day report. Made new friends even tho he was scared.But will take time to get use to the lovely place. Thank you to all the staff for taking good care of Zuma and make him feel welcome on his first day. Appreciate the work you guys are doing with all these lovely dogs and puppies. Great service, good communication and well recommended. We will know zuma will make more friend and enjoy it day by day. Thank you so much ❤️

My dog Winnie had a lovely day here, staff told me he was a pleasure. Winnie even hesitated to leave, he came home and rested straight away so clearly well cared for. Would highly recommend and would definitely send Winnie back!
