ALWAYS ASK & CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!Countdown Huntly........It's happening on a regular occurrence where the checkout staff are scanning items twice over ( If I have only one product, they will scan it twice ). It's an absolute nuisance to have to go and sort out their mistake!SPECIALS from time to time. I have put something in my trolley as I have seen it for on special. Get up to the checkout only to be charged full price. Then have to wait in line again to try and sort it out.

The staff seemed very short staffed this day I went in. The line for the two checkouts that were open, were massive - almost the length of the store.The outside of the building needs attention and repairing also, it was boarded up with what looks like ply wood.

What is happening with this store? It's getting worse. Cannot blame covid anymore.11am on Monday and no bakery bread. It's been like this at other times on weekdays for two weeks now.Other shelves are also constantly very low or empty. Poor selection of Cracker brands as well as other lines also.It's a convenient place to shop but if half your list is unobtainable then will just resort to Hamilton for it all.Looking at others comments maybe I will start checking I'm not being overcharged on pricing also.

You almost get everything at one place. Price is also good and you have enough varieties and brands in each section. Staff is helpful and seems to be kind. We got all types of vegetables, fruits, dry fruits, spices, dals, milk, beers, etc.Almost every household item you can think.Enough space for car parking.

The only Countdown in Huntly.. Prices and special comparable to other countdown's around NZ. Small store but we'll stocked. Staff were quite friendly.

The reason I loved it was because the checkout operator paid me a lovely compliment. I was dressed up for a wedding and I felt like a million dollars after she told me I looked nice. The shop was very clean and well stocked.
