Vellenoweth Green

Lovely park on the waterfront of st helliers

Sunday 5th march..round The bays...sad the FINISH LINE wasn't moved to the velenoweth green AFTER 12.15PM...SO the rest of the last 1000 or so walkers cud see a finish line to pass under...instead of walking around thinking what happened to the finish line...?? wat kind of family event is this?? no finish line if u don't get here by 12.15pm...come on akl council....or rtb organisers...pls let us have a finish line til at least 1300hrs ...at the green...or just leave the finish line at the velenoweth green in future ...& redbadge security staff can tk it down when they're clearing the site...just an idea...hope this can be done for future rtb events...family event? great field..great day..great atmosphere awesome..thanx rtb volunteers organizers st John's ambo crew...all who helped on the day & b4 5th march..tk cr akl blessed 2023

Nice park in St Heliers, across the from beach. It is a short walk away from the center. It looks like there is a market here on weekends.It is quite large and has a lot of grass to run around on. There are also large trees along the road side of the green.

A beautiful old tree on the boundary of this park is an historically recognised feature at St Heiliers.Park on the edge of the reserve and enjoy a family picnic, games or launch yourself off on a walk around the bays. Walk as far as you can and then catch the bus back to St Heiliers. A great way to spend some time in the weekend.

Fun run, actually we had a great fun time and enjoyed the fun walk very much

Lots of things going on in the summer. Hot rod shows, concerts, great for walking dogs and the beach is right there.

Go out there and have fun. What an awesome venue for chillax, this is.

Hard not to love a park with such totally spectacular Morton Bay Fig trees adorning it's fringes. A lovely oasis in suburbia to kick a ball around with the kids.
