Even though the weather on the day was changeable, I can't fault the experience, we had an absolute ball!! The Couple who ran the cruise were very friendly & had great local knowledge. The complimentary tea, coffee & cookies was such a nice touch.We felt genuinely welcome the whole time - great customer service!

Great trip, well worth it. A cool little boat and a nice cruise around the lake and to the carvings.Our cruise was full and perhaps a fraction too tight for space. But friendly crew and good commentary.

Great experience. The lake can have really big swells and Ernest Kemp is one of the only boats that can get out to the rock carvings all the time! The skipper was great and informative and the other man that worked on the boat was very reassuring when it got a little rocky. Definitely worth going to see the rock carvings, it was beautiful!

Great boat trip. Danny was a great host. Information was provided throughout the tour on what we were seeing. Wine, beer, soft drinks, tea/ coffee provided on board. No one from our trip wanted to swim (it was a colder evening), but there was the option to have a swim, had it been warmer, a swim would Def have been on the cards as it was a beautiful areaOverall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Did the boat ride with family and young nephews and 80 year old mother. Lovely day spending time on their boat (The Lake was super nice). Staff was really friendly and helpful! Definitely worth a visit!The boat ride is just long enough without being exusting. Keep up there good work.

A great tour out the see the rock carvings, the crew were great and delivered a nice hot drink on our trip out there with some cookies! Very knowledgeable. Would recommend! 8/10

Took my kids in the Ernest Kemp recently to see the carvings in lake Taupo. It was a drizzly sort of day, and a little cold out. We sat outside for part of the tour and then inside on the way back. The tour was excellent. The commentary was detailed and we learnt a lot about the area and the carvings. The lady who was looking after us all was really lovely and helpful. We got plenty of opportunity to take photos. Would highly recommend this tour.
