Absolutely stunning views over Christchurch from Dusk Bar.The beers are really good the cabinet food is lovely and the meals aren't bad at all.A nice wee bar to have a few cold ones with your mates.

Went back after 3 years as it left a lasting memory (live in Auckland and it was then, the cup cafe"). Unfortunately they are distant memories. The staff we're lovely but the food was average at best. Coffee was ok and the saving grace. I ordered the basic eggs on sourdough but it lacked flavour. The bread wasn't even dressed in any seasoning oil or butter. Please get the basics right."

I just had the best seafood chowder in ... Possibly ever. The staff were lovely, the banquette seating we had was comfortable, the view was spectacular and the temperature just right for a gloomy Autumn day. Best of all, when I asked to buy a replacement Spider for my autistic son because I'd forgotten to specify that he likes to pour the fizzy over the icecream himself, the lovely lady serving me smilingly and warmly replaced it without charge. There is not a children's menu but there is cabinet food, and the half portion French Toast my son had was delicious. Highly highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming staff and good coffee with a reasonable range of cabinet food but have to say that the place needs a good clean
