Whenever we are in Ohope we come here! Great place with exceptional food. Plus they are super fast If you are hungry after a day at the beach.All our food was top notch. But for some strange reason the fries stood out the beat to us all tonight!

Lovely and quiet for a Saturday brunch, but clearly some miscommunication between the table staff, the till, and the kitchen.The mixed up order didn’t get corrected until after the rest of the mains were served (one without the advertised guacamole), as two of the starters arrived instead of the one ordered (and in lieu of the main). Coffee was charged as an upsized order without being given the option, and the request to share a dessert and promised second spoon never made its way back from the kitchen.Disappointing service aside, the meals were beautifully presented and delicious even though the desserts were on the small side.Not sure I would go back again, maybe when it’s busier the communication would be better.

We had 3 types of tacos chicken, fish and pulled beef. Together with a plate of beef nachos. Food delicious topped of with raspberry margaritas. Service excellent will definitely recommend

Best Mexican in New Zealand! Most authentic Mexican I’ve ever had outside of Mexico, thank you for such a great experience and for being puppy friendly so we could eat out the back and our puppy could have water. Sweet spot, Mexican dinner and a stroll on the beach at sunset, thank you ♥️

Really cool atmosphere, awesome artwork throughout, sambreros to wear, nice outdoor area and really good food! If you like jalapeño poppers, these ones are hottttt! Literally stuffed with cheese and lightly battered. A little too hot for us but nice in small doses.

This is one of our favourite places to eat. Often used to go there when we lived in Whakatane. Really great customer service and really great food as I’ve always ordered their vegetarian food and it never disappoints! Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Whakatane/Ohope.
