The nurses and reception staff seem lovely, but unfortunately, the one GP I've dealt with twice has no people skills.I'd previously been to and paid an audiologist who had diagnosed the issue and recommended a prescription for it. My university doctors with whom I am enrolled could not see or prescribe me the medication for almost a week. So I went to the northwest medical centre as a casual walk-in. After waiting over two hours (understandable as a casual walk-in) a nurse asked what the audiologist had recommended and took my blood pressure. I then had an uncomfortable 20-second consultation with the doctor who asked Do you want me to look at it or go off the audiologist's recommendation". That was my entire consultation. I asked the receptionist if they were really going to charge me $85. The receptionist understood and called the doctor to confirm whether or not to charge me and he said yes

Very quick wait time. Came in after a mountain biking injury saw the nurse almost immediately followed by X-ray and consult with the doctor. In and out in just over an hour

Awful experience! The doctor told me that “strep throat and influenza are the same virus” unsure if he was thinking I was stupid or actually thought this & doesn’t know the difference between the two? Then prescribed antibiotics and told me he’d contact me with swab results whether positive or negative, no such contact. Left a message with nurse asking to be called with her results - never answered. Spoke to reception, they cut me off too and transferred me to the nurse who doesn’t respond. All the while my daughter is getting worse and worse cos she was wrongly diagnosed. Days later I called back, to which I was asked to come in again (swab was never sent?) they claim not to know what happened. Ok so repeat swabs done, they call me next day and the swabs were done in the mouth not nasal so again cannot be used?! Don’t even bother with this place! So incompetent and charged me so much money to come back time and time again for their mistakes!

Having this beautiful facility and staff here in Kumeu is such an amazing thing. In the past i always rushed to Westgate and had to literally wait for hours with not so friendly receptionists. I am pleased that Northwest centre is operational in Kumeu with Wonderful service, Kind staff and Doctors for extended hours. Keep it up team. You are doing great job!!! Thank you

Women behind the desk needed more empathy and show more kindness .I felt they were more worried about chatting than helping people.On arrival I got told to take a covid test outside in my car. I was negative.I was annoyed as other people arrived there and they didn't do a covid test . I was in my hi vis work gear and felt like they treated me like I was filthy etc..My money is as good as everyone else's.for $90 I expect better service .I will nit return Lincoln rd white cross has better management and service.
