Easy to find cafe on the CBD Kerikeri bypass road. Some road side parking, but extra off-street parking nearby too.Awesome range of hot and cold ready made and specially made menu items. Grab a quick cake, slice, savory, or sandwich or from a much greater selection - ready made, or from the menu. Special orders considered too. The range of drinks - hot or cold, to meet my needs. Eat in, local or take it away.Loved all I purchased and all that I consumed. An A1 hot long black made my day. Great team members.

Kia Ora We have been to Kerikeri Bakehouse on numerous occasions as we are locals to the area.We commend this Bakehouse for their range of food and also offering a breakfast menu as well. The food is reasonably priced and allows families with children to be able to afford lunch or breakfast out.Unfortunately there is a staff member that taints the otherwise lovely cafe. She is always in a bad mood, her attitude now makes us decide whether we continue to come here or not.She seems to either need a break from hospitality or more days off or a different job.We were there about one month ago and an item of our PAID order did not make it to the table. After waiting a good length of time, we went to kindly ask for the baking item that had been overseen. Her response was, i am about to start cleaning the floor (we are sitting outside so not in her way), no apology for the error, got annoyed that she needs to get us the baking item. the item we paid for was no longer available , even though there was a huge stack of them upon ordering. She said we have to buy another type, and we said ok but were not willing to pay the upprice, then she told us to put it in a bag and eat it in the car! they wanted to close...we were sitting outside and asked her if we could please finish our coffees first. She then said that we are not welcome back to this cafe??!We were there another time, and we waited for ages for one coffee. we then saw her walking from the buffet area towards the tables, not making much effort to find the table number, and shook her head and made a face, then dumped it onto the back bench almost spilling it. One of us went up to check if it was ours and to help her out, she got angry and said if the number is not visible in the stand then she won't bring out the coffee. We had no idea there were stands, and there wasn't one near us. The coffee was a mess.This type of negative customer service spoils it for the other staff that were working well. We do not feel comfortable going in there when she is working. She will know who she is and we hope she takes a break if that is what she needs to enjoy her job again.Otherwise, the food is fresh, plentiful, great range, affordable.One other point, when it's a wet rainy day, the polished concrete is super slippery and especially in summer with tourists and others wearing jandals, it is a safety hazard. We suggest more heavy non slip mats that won't move easily, as we observed numerous clients slipping out, it is an accident waiting to happen. There are long queues right from the entrance to the counter so the mats need to cover that whole strip.Bakehouse cafe, please remind your staff how important customer service is, and that is has a lasting impression on the locals, visitors and tourists from overseas. Perhaps a staff meeting to remind your staff how they can make a positive difference to all their customers.

Very busy cafe with a wide range of food. I had a steak pie, that I couldn't finish as it was bland and very gooey. Having said that, my husband had a chicken/cranberry pie which he enjoyed. Maybe I'm too pickey, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Great food, I got a ham roll and an apple Danish both were excellent, the ham roll had fresh salads, good quality slices ham, and egg. The apple Danish great texture and not to sweet. The service was friendly and efficient.

A great place! Good friendly service and delicious food choices. A must place to be!
