A good facility where the animals are treated with kindness plus I mow and weedeat main outside pen on my work schedule twice now and no dog doo unlike most public recreational facilities where some owners don't pick up .!!!!

Situated a couple hundred metres off the main Silverdale Highway The Entrance can be tricky to find first time. Pleasant staff and a great place to visit if you would like to adopt a pet.

Any animal shelter rates highly in my books - the gals at Silverdale do an excellent job caring and re-homing discarded pets. Remember a pet is for life not just a whim, be compassionate adopt a rescue dog and reap the karmic reward.
