Mud Bay Cafe
We came here on our way home for morning tea.We all loved our coffee even if it was slow and it would appear that all the locals who got takeaways and came in after us were served first.The food came out quick and our son inhaled the scone. Sadly it came out at least 10-15 min prior to our coffee so our sausage roll was Luke warm by the time we ate it while still waiting on coffee.

Wicked little Cafe, friendly staff. Yum as kai. They were happy to let us chill and download some movies of Netflix and games as we are staying without reception. They have a play area for little ones.

We were satisfiedAfter a long drive we decided to Stopover at Urenui. I was planning to get a drink but my children were hungry. So we stumbled upon the Mud Bay Cafe.We were there in the afternoon, only a staff at the counter and Taiwanese chef. There weren't a lot of customers then and we were really enjoying the ambience of a country cafe in small town.We ordered some drinks and food and they were all great. However, when we got our bills, I realize that the price are a little steep. Well, I just have remind myself that I'm in NZ. Hehehe

Mud Bay Cafe
Absolutely fantastic Cafe! We were driving up north and came across this cafe. The food and drinks were fantastic. Well priced- good value for money. They have beautiful interior with stunning gardens and a deck out the front and back.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and coffee. Yummy sweets. Staff are very welcoming. Definitely will be back.

I just stopped to grab a take-away coffee but I loved it. The atmosphere was super nice and the staff so friendly. The interior of the place looked beautiful. I definitely recommend to stop there and have a nice, relaxed coffee in a great atmosphere.

Lovely coffee with friendly service. Can also recommend their big breakfast with home made potato cake, pancake stack, eggs benedict and pumpkin feta quiche.
