Absolutely majestic. One of the most beautiful looking beaches I have been to. Recommend early morning, low tide if you can, so you can see the sun peak over the cliffs.

The actual walkway had a closed sign up so waited for low tide to access the beach. This was a great beach walk with massive colourful cliffs, an archway and waterfalls. A good beach for surfcasting but be aware that vehicles do access this area.

Great walk for a fine autumn day up & over the White Cliffs from Waiiti to Waipingau Stream & back along the surf at low tide. Check the tides for the beach leg to be within 2 hours of low tide.

I've done a lot of hiking over the past year, including several in New Zealand, and this was one of my favorites. It's super easy, but I loved the views over the ocean on the way out and walking back along the beach. Make sure to go at low tide so you can do the beach walk!

Make sure check the time of low tides before arrival. There is limited carpark in front of the access to White Cliff. Hope we can come back to complete the track next time.

I went at 1.5 hours before low tide and started along the beach which was perfect timing. I enjoyed the forest and farm land just as much! Cloudy, drizzly day but it was still enjoyable.

A great stroll through nature, genuinely humbling to see how vast and mighty it is, reminding us of our own smallness. The layers of rock were a sight to behold, truly impressive. Just check the tide schedule beforehand and be aware that parking is limited - we only saw room for a couple of cars. Perhaps it's possible to find parking along the road. We were fortunate enough to have the entire area to ourselves, taking a leisurely two-hour walk to and from the rocks. Don't miss the charming little cave, which provides a lovely photo opportunity and a spot for singing. Additionally, there is a slight possibility of catching a glimpse of Maui dolphins.

Make sure you go during low tide otherwise you won't be able to go down or get stuck in the water coming up. The road is marked well so turn in until you find a car to park. We went on a beautiful day and thank you for the blue sky and no rain. However, we did not explore a lot because of time limitation and we did not know when the tide was coming in.

One of the “must” visit places in the Taranaki region. Great during low tides as one could walk around the coast.

This is best done as a walk along the farm and hills walkway, then a return along the beach. I think most people are just using it as a beach access point. There is very little parking, maybe 3 cars worth. If you just want to walk on the beach, drive up the road to three sisters which has many more caves and much more parking.IF you do this as the loop, its very nice. The trail initially is the farm residents only road, then it goes through fields, through hills, and light forests. Views are amazing. You can follow the trail to the first stream turnoff, and return along the beach. For a much longer hike, continue onto the stock tunnel, which is unmarked and officially closed for safety, and can return along beach from there. However, the trail is very overgrown after the first stream turnoff. Especially with thorny shrubs.
