La Dolce Vita Studio Accomodation

My partner and I had an incredible time staying in the Queen studio suite. Having aircon in the room was incredible as the weather at the time of our trip was amazing so having a cool room to come relax in was a high note. The hosts were very accomodating also allowing for a later checkout. The location is prime, being in a short walking distance to the local restaurants and bars. We loved our stay and will more than definitely be returning. Thank you for having us, 10/10!

You might ak why the low score, well even though it was clean and well kept and i had a good night sleep this personally would have been worth the +$200 NZD off season price tag if there were a bit more creature comforts. i was expecting at least Netflix instead of 4 analog tv channels for example. was it a full deal breaker? no not if you stay one night because it came with wifi and was walking distance from the city center but even then that should be the bare minimum these days.

We slept on a very comfortable bed in unit 2 of La Dolce Vita which is well situated being close to both the town and the beach. Our two night stay was quiet and peaceful . Access and parking was not an issue since there were no other guests on the first night and only one on the second but, having said that, I can certainly see the potential for difficult egress when all three units are occupied.However it was some small things that partially spoiled our stay e.g. in the kitchenette; no dish rack, no hand towels, no tea towels, no cloth for wiping down the bench top and a pot scrubber with bristles similar to those on a shaving brush thus rendering it of limited use.In addition, we had difficulty locking and unlocking both doors and I felt a little nervous about this, hoping that the key was not going to get stuck, bent or broken. I advised Management on Wednesday and was told that this would be looked into on the weekend as it was not until then that there would be anyone on site. Hmm.

I asked them for the wifi password and no one answerd me. In the morning so many doors getting smashed shut and that’s so noisy.

We had a lovely stay at this property. It was quiet and yet close enough to walk into town and the beach. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. It was reassuring to know that if we needed anything help was just a phone call away. Everything we needed was in the apartment so it was a great stay. A big Thank you to our hosts. Eve

We had a 2 night stay at la dolce vita. The property is well located, just a few minutes walk from town also not far to the beach. The studio was spotless and well appointed. There was a heat pump to keep us warm. The shower was excellent. Perhaps the best of all was the super king bed, which was not only obviously large, but also was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept on.

My husband and I are in our 70's and we had a lovely 2 nights stay. We had a very comfortable queen bed and everything we needed. We could walk to the beach and the restaurants. We would recommend the place to family and friends.

My husband and I stayed for the first time for 2 nights and loved our room. Lovely decor , comfy bed, great shower. Everything you need. Parking outside unit very tight, suitable for small or medium car only.

Fantastic units! Park the car and your good to go - close proximity to the beach and to town. Clean, tidy and spacious. Would most definitely stay here again.
