AA Vehicle Inspection Sydenham

A real shameful organisation that will keep you waiting for hours on end but will not wait for you for 5 mins and will take you money.. thief’s!!

Took much longer than said. I waited in the waiting room which you can see the work shop. The technician seemed to spend more time chatting to a work colleague than actually working on my car. The inspection told me very little about the actual mechanical state of the vehicle total waste of time.

awesome people to deal with with great handy advice aswel. I'm pleased to get my class2 through this place and it's close to home. good work guys

What a great team ! Sally went above and beyond to help work through the queue of people to fast track the process - offering a seat to an elderly woman. Every staff member at the counters were friendly and efficient. A great vibe in this AA. Thankyou

Avoid this place at all costs. I had the displeasure of dealing with a muppet called Dave, who was the most difficult, glass half empty person ever. Said my car was going to take weeks and weeks to get through and it was going to be extremely difficult. Picked my car up and took it elsewhere. Turns out the only extremely difficult thing was Dave. Had it back in 4 days on the road. In your face fool!

Didn't get a service as couldn't get a booking as nobody knows how to answer there phones So booked else where

I found it annoying while waiting in line and the customer had nearly completed her licence/relicencing process when the clerk asked her if she would like to join the AA. As the initial process takes up to 10 mins for the licencing process having to wait another one left me feeling a little miffed. This would take up to another 5 mins to complete which was rather annoying as the customer had not planned on joining initially but put on the spot accepted. Furthermore there are two booths for licencing and one for membership. If the customer accepted she should have been directed to the membership queue and the next person waiting in the licencing queue processed.Eventually I was served and was annoyed at the wasted time the clerk spent trying to upgrade my membership after she found out I had one and other insurances available that the AA provided.Recommended changes:- all applicants in the licencing booths redirected to the membership booth or another staff member available to assist- reduce wait time in licence queue by not processing future members in licence booths post licence application.Alternative change:- change all three signs to Membership/ LicenceThat way people waiting in line wont feel annoyed as that would provide preparation for the extra process.

Have lived in Christchurch 4 years and aa Brougham street is by far the worst as I've experienced in nz.Rather go to vtnz.Bit of advice change of staff absolutely useless couldn't do a single simple task

Hell on earth. Snooty old tarts at the desk. Don’t work in customer service if you don’t have patience and can’t be nice to people. Not even worth 1 star.
