YWAM Marine Reach

This is my true second home here in New Zealand. Such a good place to be, whether you're here to serve with the ministry or come for a visit.

I learned so much at Marine Reach that I will continue to use throughout my life. I also made so many amazing life-long friends. If anyone is thinking about doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) I would definitely recommend doing one at Marine Reach! They will prepare you for an intimate relationship with Christ and the mission field. Even if you don't plan on being a missionary you should still do a DTS, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Marine Reach is an amazing, God-centred community. I'm forever grateful for the ministry and family of Marine Reach.

Marine Reach is an amazing family of people who are learning together how to love God, other people, and themselves. The Marine Reach Training Centre is a place of beauty, peace, and belonging, and it run by people who are genuine, caring, and welcoming.

I did my DTS here back in 2017. Best decision ever!!

This place is just phenomenal. Truly God-led, anointed in every way and it just feels like coming home. Hospitality and leadership are ON POINT. Sweet as.

I grew up in a YWAM family and been to tons of bases. I felt called to staff at Marine Reach... and let me tell you... the caliber of leadership and the anointing are phenomenal. Go where God is calling you-- but if you're feeling called here... I 10/10 recommend this base. Quality people, spirit filled and beautiful!

The people here are some of the nicest and most hospitible I have ever met. As soon as you arrive they make you feel love and so at home. I was only there for two days and already felt like family.The base is located far enough away from town that you feel like your in the wilderness, but it's close enough that it's only a 10 to 15 minute drive from a shopping centre. There's a beautiful feild that you can okay sport in and a waterfall to swim at a short walk away.The food was phenomenal and their fruit/toast/drink bar was an awesome idea. I'm sure I'll be back for, if nothing else, just to eat one of their home style meals.

I have definitely loved being apart of this place. It has become another home for me and is a place I feel safe and secure in who I am.
