Summerset at Monterey Park
Monterey Park is an exceptional village. From the moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere is bright, inviting and open. Staff are helpful and approachable. I would recommend this village to anyone!

February 2023Visited friends who are resident here. The grounds are well maintained. There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities for all residents to be involved with. It seems to be very well run by the management and residents.

Beautifully laid out retirement village. Rooms are nice, views are great, only downside is the cafe, they take far too long for orders.

Summerset at Monterey Park
Although clean and well presented, the level of support for the residents is appalling! If there is help available, then the resident is charged a huge sum of money! Wouldn't touch the place with a barge pole!! Summerset simply use elderly residents as cash cows all the way from capital gains to simple bed making services.

AAA++ This place was a wonderful home for my Mum for 5 years where she received the best care especially during her final years of life in the Care Centre. A friendly, welcoming place to visit and be made to feel so at home too.

Wonderful establishment. My Uncle stays in the Care Centre and the staff are just awesome. Never grumpy, always have a smile on their faces. Our family always promised to never send our loved ones to a resthome but being at Monterey Park has eased our minds greatly. Thank you Summerset!

It must be 8-10 weeks, or more, since I phoned to enquire about respite care. I left a voicemail on the Friday and followed up with a visit that weekend where I filled out a form. I have not heard a word. Ironically the lovely person who took me around the facility mentioned that if I wanted care urgently that there was only one unit available.In my 15 - 20 minute tour of the Care area" I saw only one caregiver outside of admin
