Piss poor. The breakfast states mushrooms. Not a single mushroom the size of my thumb. Toast was cold, butter was hard, food was bland. I have been here before and it was crap, but thought I would give it a second chance. Still crap.Even when i went to ask them about the mouse sized portion of mushroom" there was another guy also complainig about something completely different.Poor all round."

My everyday, go to cafe.Just the best way to start my day.The staff treat you like family, gorgeous gluten free muffin, perfect coffee.Its like coming downstairs for breakfast before you head off into the big grown up world.Delish !

Wrong food was presented as the order number between the printed menu and their order system is different. Went to the counter and the staff wasn't willing to replace the food. Informed her that I ordered according to the print menu they provided which I should entitle for the replacement.( right order has bacon, sausage, egg etc but the wrong order is a vege dish). She unwillingly agree to replace and pointed out the price different approx $1.7 different which I have no objection to pay. Chicken red Thai pie and beef pie were good, beef lasagne was ok, Omellete a bit dry and not enough tomato sauce to eat it with as omellete was too dry. Mine was just average.

Absolutely appalling. Got our order wrong more times than I can count. We were also overcharged but when we requested a refund for the overcharged portion we were ignored. Children's smoothies (this was breakfast time) consisted of ice cream and fruit flavoured sugar syrup, not even close to a fruit smoothie. Their very expensive bagel with cream cheese came with the grand total of a teaspoon of cream cheese, not enough to spread over the bagel. The kids orders were wrong so many times we actually left and went to a cafe that could provide what we ordered. Very expensive and certainly not reflective of quality and service.

Best bacon and cheese scones ever...Will definitely be making a return journey there again. Son had bacon, eggs and tomato on toast and said he'd like a return visit as if was s substantial helping for a most reasonable price. Well done Taste Explosion.

Popped in for a drink while at the market, reviews were good so were expecting a decent glass of something.The chocolate thick shakes we ordered were synthetic flavouring, orange in colour, very sweet and not at all pleasant to drink. At $7 for a small glass, it was very disappointing. We returned them both to the counter after only a few sips each. Wasn’t expecting a refund so didn’t ask, an exchange or refund was not offered.Won’t return, with so many other cafes available in the area.

Food is good and very reasonably priced. The lasagna was very tasty and the portion size was perfect for a small lunch. Coffee was well made and well presented. The place was cozy and comfortable. Centrally situated near the market, it's in a handy spot for a quick coffee and a bite to eat.

I went here 4 or 5 times when I was visiting New Zealand and I loved it. Mochas were great, the pastries were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I am jealous of locals who can go here all the time.
