The guys in the bike workshop are amazing!! Came up for a biking holiday and on day one my dropper post gave up. The guys in the workshop were super friendly and knowledgeable. Managed to steer me in the right direction of a new post and even fit it that morning so I could get back on the trails. Highly recommend!

I used Torpedo7 to hire 2 ht mountain bikes for the day. I started out the day with a good impression, 2 trek marlin 7s were ready to go at the counter (minus tires needed a little air and road kit neesed strapped on but no big deal). They even reversed the brakes for free since thats what im used to overseas! Price was very reasonable and bikes tuned well. I would be giving this Torpedo7 5 stars except when I went to the back to get a little more air in the tires I was met by a super rude mechanic. He asked what psi I wanted and I told him I wasn't familiar with the tires on the bike and why would I be? He then asked again and gawked at me when i suggested 50psi (this is what I ride at home on 2.5 in tires so that didn't seem that unreasonable) he then told me anything over 30 would be insane. Okay fine I thought. Fast forward to the trail and the sidewalls said inflate 30-50psi so if we didn't ask for extra air we definitely would be running low and what i originally asked for would've been reasonable for a hard pack trail even though thaylt was a random guess. Add in repeatedly questioning me when I said my wife's bike was a 27.5 inch tire because it was and I wanted the correction size emergency tube, being told I OBIOUSLY don't mountain bike much and making comments that I must've caused my wife's traumatic accident because I supposedly lead her on too hard of a track (again coming from a guy I never met) my heart was pounding I was so annoyed and upset with this guy. I would recommend Torpedo7 just avoid a certain staff member ;)

Had an incredible experience at Torpedo7! Staff were incredibly accommodating and resourceful and outfitted my group with exactly what we needed for an awesome day on the trails. Would absolutely come here again.

Called into the workshop on Saturday morning to get new tyres fitted. Absolutely blown away by the service Jamie provided. Left the store with a bike vastly improved and far more fun to ride at the redwoods, thanks to the team at Rotorua.

We went to Torpedo 7 earlier today and the two ladies were just super friendly, competent and ready to help. Plus, they were amazing with the kids, too. Highly recommend.

We hired bikes from Torpedo7 and had a wonderful experience cycling in the Whakarewarewa forest!Outstanding customer service from Ngawai, Lee Anne and Maria, they told us how to ride to the forest via the cycle paths. A fantastic day of riding, we completed the 33km trail in time to return the bikes to the shop. Very highly recommended for bike hire in Rotorua

Had a very good shopping experience. Went in on Sunday just before closing to swap out some faulty icebreaker socks. Staff were helpful and excellent with swap and no issues. Will come back to shop again soon!!

Awesome service. 5 pm on Sunday shifter cable broke with a 4 hour private shuttle planned the next morning. Sorted quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price. Threw in a brake pad change and a axle clean and grease for free. Thanks!
