Twin Needles

I took three suits and a pair of trousers to be altered. We agreed a turnaround time of 5 working days, which was honoured. I am very pleased with the alterations and have no hesitation in recommending Betty and Twin Needles.

Took in pants to be hemmed. She took care to match the stitching to the original. The job was well done and fast - I got a text when they were ready- a day early. Happy with the price too.

She seemed to know exactly from first glance that the dress was a little big on me. I can't wait for the finished product! Will complete review after finished product.Update: the dress alteration was just right! It fits me perfectly!

Went here a while ago and they took the sleeves up and dry cleaned my jacket. They did a really poor job. The sleeves and entire jacket is now totally out of shape. The employee claimed it was like that before. Never wore the jacket again.

UPDATE::::::::i went in yesterday for what I thought was the final fitting, the dress was a perfect fit, however it was still unfinished. Left it there overnight so they could finish up re-sewing the seams back together and sew the remainder of the beads back on. Went back in today for the final fitting, and to collect the dress, and it was absolutely beautiful. Sure, time was wasted, and it took 3-4 visits for them to get it 100% correct. Other than that, I am very happy with the service I was provided with. I am certain I will be back!I took my ball gown here for alterations at the bust, and the hem. Came back a week after I first took it in, for a fitting, and I was so dissatisfied with how it looked. the bust was far too tight, the back of the bodice didn't line up with the front, the beads were falling off everywhere, the side seams were falling apart and the dress didn't even look like it was mine. The dress was left untouched for about 6 days before any work was done, and it was so rushed. I have since left it there for the employees to fix, and all I'm hoping for now is that it's a perfect fit when I go in for my final fitting in a few days time. At this point, it's looking like I will not have a dress to wear. Very disappointed.

Lovely people here. I asked them to reline my full length vintage leather jacket and they did an amazing job. Made the pockets a much better size and has turned my old jacket into a new treasure!! Thank you Betty and team. I will totally be back.

Twin Needles shortened a pair of ski pants for me and I couldn't be happier with the result. Some of the padded fabric had to be cut off the length of the pants. Twin Needles then took off the reinforcing fabric strips from the cut off sections at the end of the hems and re-attached back onto the ski pants. Such a neat job, they look exactly as they did when purchased only shorter. Thank you so much!!

I’m a seamstress myself with 50 years experience. I’m fussy and I have taken 5 important items to get altered. Betty is really skilled at translating my complicated requests into reality. She works with care and precision. Every garment I have had adjusted or altered, has been completed to a high standard. The turn around time was good and each garment was completed on the day that was stated. To me this is important. This is the reason I keep going back and using her services.
