Great experience in Mortimer Hirst Takapuna. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional from Renate the optometrist. My biggest shout out is to Cathy where her customer service is exceptional. Her knowledge towards glasses is so in-depth. Her eyes for type of glasses to choose is spot on. Very professional and friendly. Nothing she can't find solution. Highly recommended.

What an incredible experience! The team (Tess & Hans) at Mortimer Hirst are amazing. My 12 year old son wanted to try contact lenes and couldn’t master them at another optometrist. Mortimer Hirst took the time to train and support him into contact lenses which has changed his world (he plays a lot of sport). Their knowledge and work is exceptional, highly recommend. What an amazing team at Mortimer Hirst Takapuna! I was long overdue to get new glasses but had been putting it off for years as i had a fear of wearing glasses and preferred to walk around half blind. I went in there and they made me feel at home right from the second i stepped in the door. They tested my eyes and made me feel at ease the whole way through then they spent another hour or so helping me to chose the perfect frames. I got glasses and sunglasses ordered that day and i couldn't wait to pick them up. Went back a week later and couldn't believe how well they fit and how great they looked. Thank you so much guys. 21 years I'd been too scared to get new glasses and now i love them so much I'm kicking myself for not coming in to see you sooner.
