A big thank you to Jisha and all the team at the Palmerston Manor. They were so loving and caring to our dear friend/dad.... showing him respect and going out of their way to see to his needs and genuinely loving him like their own Opa. A very relaxed, homely, comfortable and clean place for your loved ones to stay. You are all amazing and we can't thank you enough for the way you cared for Dad.

My family and I are very grateful for Palmerston Manor giving my Mum a loving and caring home until her final days. The Team there are fantastic. They kept us informed and did everything possible to keep Mum comfortable and happy. The residents have fun activities and are given great opportunities to form lovely friendships. We got advice and options at every step from staff which was really helpful. The rooms and facilities are nice and well equipped. Highly recommended for your loved ones.

Our son has been in Palmerston Manor with a hypoxic brain injury for 5.5 years. Obviously he has very high needs which the nurses and staff manage very well. We visit him daily and feel part of the team. The Home is extremely well managed by Jisha. It has a warm friendly and happy atmosphere. The nurses are approachable, capable and professional. The care givers are friendly, kind, caring, and do a great job. We are happy we chose Palmerston Manor for our son and would recommend the facility to anyone looking for a care home for themselves or family members. From Joe and Catherine Carroll

The team at The Manor have made my Mother very comfortable in her new home and have been there to support her in times of need. The environment is very friendly with daily and weekly activities for residents, so they maintain a good social connection to family and friends. Well done and thank you!

My father, George Judd, was admitted to the Palmerston North Manor in late December 2019 after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was very hard to take dad from his own residence of over 55 years, but the team at the PN Manor were very welcoming and soon had him settled in as a resident. I was very reassured of dad's care by Jisha and Sonja, who routinely communicated with me about dad's medical care and well-being.All the staff were exceptionally kind and professional not just to dad, but all the residents. Looking after people in their twilight years is very challenging, but at all times I observed professionalism and caring exhibited by the team.As dad's condition declined, Jisha and her nurses would regularly update me on dad's situation and frequently called me using video so I could talk to him as I live in another part of the country.I'm sure most people don't want to end their days in a rest home, but I have no hesitation in recommending the PN Manor based on my experience with dad. Thank you to all the fabulous team - your care and attention to dad's needs was truly appreciated.

My 91 year old mother was discharged from hospital on palliative care to Palmerston Manor in a very incapacitated state. She was welcomed and cared for with so much love and compassion by Jisha and her staff. She passed away after 5 weeks at the Manor. I can't say enough about the facility and the care that they provided. I will be eternally grateful that this is where she ended up.

Palmerston Manor LifecareOur loved one was admitted to this medium sized Rest Home facility in Palmerston North New Zealand in May 2020 under the strict COVID19 restrictions. Our loved one has a beautiful cosy room with en-suite looking out over the rose garden. The manager and all staff have tried to make it as pleasant for both resident and family while adhering to the NZ government set COVID19 restrictions. We are now almost at the end of June 2020, visiting is luckily allowed again under the COVID19 limitations.Everyone working in this facility have the utmost respect for the residents and go out of their way to make their lives as comfortable as possible.Nursing and carers staff are absolutely wonderful and as family we are updated daily if their are minor/major events affecting our loved ones.In our opinion without their patience and care we as family would be lost as all the children live abroad without the ability to fly.Summary:Manager: *****Nursing staff: *****Carers staff: *****Communication: ****Facility: *****Location: *****Food quality: *****Overall care of loved one: **********=excellent****=very good***=good**=have doubts*=wouldn’t want to deal with them again

The care given to our mother Margaret was compassionate and professional. The superb staff were patient and found innovative ways to manage her when she was unwell and reluctant to comply. The overall attitude of the team was inclusive and 'family-like'. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for this type of care for their loved one.
