Best cheese scones ever. Freshly made. Coffee was fabulous too. And they very kindly accommodated my little dog. Lovely staff. I'll definitely be going again, even if it's just to grab some cheese scones to take away when I'm driving past that way. Thank you all so much. Blessings. Lynne and Patsy.

Great place with tons and tons of parking to pull into to grab a coffee and something to eat on your journey over the Rimutakas. Or have their breakfast special which is $10.00 and is just right.Friendly staff! And try the apple cake, it’s the best apple cake I’ve had. The staff are very accommodating and made me a sandwich that wasn’t on the menu! The coffee is good too! There is a plant shop there which has more unusual things and you get in the general plant shops.Lots moreHere too if you look at the other reviews!

26/09/22 Its a really beautiful garden especially when there are blossom trees blooming during spring. The path can get muddy when it has been raining that week so be aware of slips. There were so many people taking photos so be patient if you want to take photos at certain spots

Two big rooms for conferences, company events or weddings. Very nice well kept garden, love the pond, waterfall, flowers all year round. Every year I admire the cherry blossoms

Beautiful place. No words to describe such amazing garden. Everything is magical, from the small flowers to the incredible blossoms. The cafe is wonderful with lots of food. You can go from a high tea to a dinner without disappointment. You'll be well served, see nice people, take amazing pictures, listen to the birds singing, the mirror lake among many other things.

Amazing gardens, their Cafe must be understaffed which was a shame as you can see how stressed the staff are. They have cabinet food and a set menu but I can highly recommend the Dumplings. Wear walking shoes if you plan to walk around the lovely gardens

Limited food on the menu. Atleast should have had good amount of cabinet items. Anyway, Good to hop in for a cup of coffee and their drinks aren’t bad. But, if you want to have breakfast I wouldn’t suggest going there. There are far better place. Service was good and all staff are friendly. Ample of parking space.

Didn't try out the facilities but went on the Cherry Blossom after dark tour.Absolutely beautiful. The colors, the lighting, the sounds. They've even got a bar area half way through with fire pits and marshmallows!!Only downfall was the rain had caused quite a few of the walk ways to become boggy and a little dangerous.

Basic pub type menu, all our food arrived at different times ( and far apart) and some missing the extra sides. Staff appeared overly stressed by a busy day (it was mother's day). Clearly some work needed on order management. I'd say fine for small groups for a basic feed and wander through gardens, avoid it if you have a big group, better places with more menu items.

A lovely garden to enjoy cherry blossom!Went here on one Saturday when the weather was balmy and a bit cloudy, yet the garden is still beautifully blossoming. It was packed but yet the garden is spacious. The patch is clear and well maintained. The ticket is NZD 10 per person, kids under 12 is still free if I'm not mistaken.I saw some disabled persons visiting the garden as well and there are a few areas which are accessible. But there are hills and stairs as well. Toilets are available. You can also buy some flowers, trees and fruit saplings here. You can get food, drinks and souvenirs here and they also have cafe and wedding halls.
