Check your heater before getting a healthy home report with these guys. Especially those wall heaters that are more than a few years old and without external lables (i.e. Skope). These guys are not familar with these devices and they will not count toward the heating allowance even when your primary source of heating is from an high power heat pump with less than 1.2kw of top up needed.Don't make the same mistake as we did, replacing the old 3.3kw heater with a NEW 2.4kw one.Unfortunately, we're not an electrician and after an extensive google search, there are no relavent information on the NZ made heater as the manufacturer closed the production line back in 2012. Hence no viable solution was possible. The only options left with us after the phone call were either to be non-compliant or to replace the unit to meet the current standard.We're only the consumer of this service and following the guideline as the same way as you do. However, as a consumer, we were expecting your expertise to guide us on the matter arised and seems like we have both reached an impasse.
