Astelia Apartment Hotel

Opted for an alternate room because our room still wasn't ready 1hr after 2.00pm check in and room service had no consideration of making our room a priority. Room service not sighted during our occupancy.

Highly recommend Astelia apartment for short term stays, the room was spacious (we stayed in one bedroom apartment) and has everything we need i.e. laundry detergent to dishwasher liquid. It felt like home away from home. Staff were friendly and helpful which was a bonus. There is a food market directly opposite for dine out meal, also a New World metro about 3 min walk down Willis St. The hotel is also a short stroll from the airport express bus stop.

Good central affordable place to stay while visiting Wellington. Nothing special but well appointed and had everything you needed and was clean. Well located and an easy walk to most tourist attractions! Staff were friendly and helpful! Would stay again.

If you're looking for something cheap, relatively comfortable and well located in Wellington, then this is the place for you. It's a little old and run down, but it certainly does its job. The lack of air-conditioning does make the rooms a little stuffy, though!

This was a great hotel to stay at for a short stay, it's in such a great location with heaps of good places to eat nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. A great size room for one as I needed a place to work.

Save yourself the hassle. This place is hopeless. Self-catering? How about a chopping board or even a spoon to cook with? I requested on the day of arrival - they took 3 days to arrive. Requested sufficient washing up liquid. Promised - but never delivered. No servicing of rooms. Definitely the most hopeless place I have stayed. Very unresponsive staff

Such an awesome place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

Good overall. Perfect location right in the centre with loads of local places to eat. Apartment was pretty good and well equipped including a washing machine. The main reason not giving 5 stars is that the room was a bit tired, especially the bathroom, although everything worked fine. Reception staff were friendly and helpful although only part time but they left our key in a locked box outside as we arrived after hours. Good value for money overall

Really nice staff and a good room. Everything was very clean and the location was very useful and walking distance from everything in central Wellington.

Have stayed at Astelia many times before so was excited about taking hubby back for his birthday weekend.Paid for parking but they forgot to include details in the 'self check in envelope' on arrival. When I called to query I was told to just go and park it'll be ok we have yr car rego. It resulted in $180 worth of parking fines, hours of our time on the phone and at their main office to sort it out...not what we had planned for our weekend.Stayed 3 nights we were only given 2 towels for our stay. Couldn't get more because there are no staff on site. Also column heater in room made it stuffy and hard to regulate temperature.I won't be back, their standards have slipped and when I spoke to the manager Balaji, he was rude and unhelpful.
