Nice curries and vegetarian/non-vegetarian thalis. They also sell a variety of Indian sweets (from besan ladoo's to ghujia, rasgulla and many others) and different namkeens.

Afraid to say it was the most disappointing butter chicken I've ever had - I've had frozen butter chickens from the supermarket I'd prefer to eat over this.My rice was cold in it's container.My garlic naan was doughy and tasted more like a garlic bread.Sucks when you support a local business and have such an overwhelmingly below average experience.

Sweets gave wife food poisoning and developed mould very quickly. I suspect they sell old stock sometimes, can't recommend until quality control is sorted. Can't speak for the other food, only ever bought sweets from here.

Average. To improve, shop should invest in proper cutlery, metal Thali tray and have include a small raita as well. Disposable plates and cutlery are stupid. The Indian sweets shop in Newtown is a far superior experience for the same price.

This is literally in my top three picks for restraints to get butter chicken from. The staff are lovely, accommodating (I asked for spicy butter chicken and were able to do this right then and there) and the food is top quality that is not hard on your pocket. Thank you for both your service and food. Will continue to come here regularly and also, you may see me tonight! Thanks again.

If you want to taste real flavour of Indian food in New Zealand then you must try this restaurant. I lives in Auckland and tried almost all Indian restaurant but can’t find the same taste as Delhi takeaway.
