Armstrong's Peugeot Auckland

Sadly, slowly but surely over the course of nearly two years I am continually having to remove a star from this place ( after starting out with a beautiful 5 star review )Post purchase service has left a lot to be desired and the vehicle itself ( Expert Van ) has clawed itself through multiple issues.1. The vehicle is too short for my trade being carpet installation after multiple emails stressing this, the yard decided to change the specs to a shorter van along the way and now the van to my horror and disappointment does not suit the trade I work in.2. The windows screech when being rolled up and down. The regulators have been changed under warranty however now they scratch and leave a mark, they are due to be changed again in two weeks.3. The spare tyre was flat when needed recently and I was told by the service team that a stone has most likely flicked up and punctured the spare. I think we all know this is compete nonsense as also backed up by multiple tyre professionals.4. The gears get stuck when going downhill and it revs high.5. The window wipers scratch the bonnet when being pulled back for cleaning, I was told to put sticky tape on it. Yes - sticky tape , on my $60K I waited 6 months to arrive from France.6. Detailing, I asked and was charged for detailing. As pictured you can see the sloppy attempt" at this. They rectified this later in the week however it goes to show how little this yard care about their service.7. The vehicle pulls to the left. I mentioned this and the fact I had just had the wheels aligned so I did not want another wheel alignment. Instead

The sales rep is extremely unprofessional and poor. I've visited several dealerships, and this one has been by far the worst.

Good day,I hope you have an extraordinary day,I, first and foremost, apologize for the negative criticism I am going to give you in regards to the visit me and my Brother had on Saturday 21st May 2022 at about 1430 hours.We have been to Armstrong due to the name and the distinction Armstrong holds in the vehicle market, however, we had the most terrible experience with you folks.I was searching for a shiny new vehicle for my younger sibling and had been to Armstrong's Peugeot Auckland expecting extraordinary vehicles and administration, we were there and begin checking the choices out.We found one sales staff who I told what we want in the vehicle and the reason for its utilization, He was talking with us while leaning on the vehicle, which did not look proficient.Then, at that point, he showed us the white 2008 base model and we said let's talk about the finance, he made us sit and give the form to fill up afterwards we just wait, we simply trust that somebody will take care of us.In the wake of hanging tight for 20-30 min, we been outside and left.Before us, others got served and we got overlooked which caused me to feel that I was Being judged" or " they can't bear the cost of the vehicle".Additionally

Terrible customer experience. Expensive quotations every visit which I dont mind and when they remove my reverse camera without me knowing, they will not accept responsibility of forgetting to put it back. It appears I am the one lying and imagining things.If you are gonna go to their service, just be prepared that they will not own up to their mistakes which it happens.I dont recommend them.

Been chasing for the trade in value, been told the manager is busy on meeting, but advise me I will get a response today, text after 2 hours, salesperson said I will get a call from his manager shortly, but of course no response after all. Seriously if you don’t want to trade in or giving any offer, you can just be honest and say it, not keeping promises and integrity.

Connor's professionalism and attention to detail was fabulous. He provided all of the information I required with patience and zero mansplaining; and took the time to source examples of the exact vehicle I was looking for. At all times I was treated like a valued customer. I will definitely look to Connor for my next Peugeot.

From the moment I walked in the door, she made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Helen was extremely knowledgeable about the various car models and was able to answer all of my questions with confidence and professionalism. She was patient and understanding, and took the time to ensure that I found the perfect car for my needs. I will definitely be returning to the dealership in the future. Misleading on 2 visits, arranged for test drive the car twice. First time the car not on site, they confirm on the phone and asked us to come it. Second time appointment been made and they confirmed. When we got there, they gave us the key for test drive. When we discussed price the price gone up for over $14,000then what it was advertised for, then we realised its not the are we enquired for. Moreover, they tried to sell us another car which been in the yard for very long time and at a higher price than they advertised on Trademe. We wasted our time twice, very disappointed with this group including the sales manager. We expressed our disappointment and frustration, no validation at all.....in fact he told us do what we like, the attitude is poor and unprofessional.

I took my car in which had an engine light and service light warning. They charged me $600 for a diagnostic and an oil change, super ridiculous but I wasn't present to discuss and could only confirm by email. The issue came back up about 300kms later. I took it to Southern Autos Peugeot in Manukau and they found the real issue straight away and got it sorted for me ASAP. I asked the team at Southern Autos how it was missed and they were stumped. They didn't know how they missed it. Down $600 and the hassle of having to take the car in a second time. Unimpressed
