Service was good and friendly. No entertainment other then pokies. Plenty of parking available outside. Old traditional flavour interior which i enjoyed for a short visit on a Saturday night.

I have stayed at the Junction Hotel once a year while visiting Thames over the last 3 yrs and the accomodation is always very clean and tidy their restaurant food is really good. The staff are friendly , helpful , kind , matching the safe and well designed interior. It is connected to a live music facility Fri-Saturday night's but with my own ear plugs I was able to sleep . A great place to recommend.

The room was not as pretty or pimped out as the pictures of others on the website. But it was functional. We got the cheap deal so that is not surprising. The shower pressure and heat was absolutely mind blowing, much appreciated seeing as it was a cold, wet day and we were cycling. Management even let (and helped) us put our tandem cycle upstairs in a secure storage room next to our room as we had misplaced our bike lock. It got a bit noisy downstairs, which you should expect from a licensed hotel with bar late night and you are sleeping just overhead. Overall, without the great customer service I would have been a bit disappointed in the room for the price we paid (no in-room coffee making facilities or even a fridge, or microwave) There is a shared mini kitchen shared between the rooms, but very small and often occupied by others but that said, the staff were awesome and it is a heritage building worth saving. We did not eat at the restaurant below but the menu looked pretty tempting. Totally our fault that we fell asleep before ordering. By the way, they would have sent our meals upstairs to us if we had ordered. So with a few little quibbles, it still gets a four out of five stars from us.

Quite a lovely place to stay as a backpacker! Room 17 had only four beds (two bunks) and came with a desk and TV! It was also ensuite and had plenty of outlets, even near the beds. The management was lovely, there's a kitchen on the same floor and one below. I was really impressed by the accommodation! My only complaint was that there's a bar below the hotel and there was live music playing very loudly until about 11pm or 11:30pm. You could hear it quite clearly from the room.

We popped in here for lunch. Fabulous, attentive service, clean rest rooms,. We had nachos, served with small bowls of sweet chili sauce, guacamole, and sour cream. Absolutely delicious. This place might just be Thames best kept secret , with no wait time. Very friendly.

Went there for my dads birthday dinner. There was a 21st party on that night in a private room. They had not catered staff to cover, had to chase staff down to take our order, waited nearly an hour for the main meal. We were given our entree without knives, forks or napkins, the waitress never came back. The people from the 21st were using the bar in the dining room it was really loud and busy all night.Just wanted a nice family dinner out, ended up with a headache.

Five star rating but of course not a five star hotel! -- I stayed here a couple of times: it is cheap, clean, and comfortable. There's a little kitchen for residents to use with coffee, tea etc. and a shared fridge. Excellent value for money.
