Rangitikei Chicken
This chicken is mind blowingly good. Tastes succulent and the fried chicken batter is perfect. Definitely give this a try, it makes fried chicken feel like a special occasion.

One of the buttermilk chicken tenders which I thought was a “chicken” tender contained no chicken, however it was all batter in the shape of a chicken tender.

Tried the frozen karaage chicken. Love the idea of this but found the chicken far too salty (and I love salt) and the balance of ginger and garlic wasn’t quite right

I love the Karaage Chicken so thought I would try the Butterfly Chicken with Peri Peri, this smelt good when I took it out of the bag, but sadly all I could taste was salt when it was cooked (I did not add any myself) and I found the texture of the meat to be interesting, like it had been tenderized with MSG- I am wondering of the salt brine caused this?. It was very disappointing. I now have 3/4 of a chicken left that I am wondering what to do with. 1/2 in the freezer and 1/4 precooked.

The karaage chicken is always delicious. Juicy chicken and tasty batter! Been purchasing it for months, and I have never been disappointed! Although, the size of the karaage can be more consistent.
