I highly recommend the bike rentals! They are a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Franz Josef. The area is beautiful and easily accessible on a bike.You should definitely look into this if you like to explore the outdoors.

A friend and I hired 2 bikes for a full day. We spent the day exploring the area, riding up to the Glacier Valley carpark and out to Lake Mapourika where we spent the afternoon swimming! Bikes are in great condition and the booking process was really easy. Will be back to rent again!
