Was in the Oamaru store a few days ago, and the lady that served me, didn't seem to care about what I needed, and so I ended up looking it up myself, no 'hello, how can I help, and no smile, terrible customer service, and the other staff looked bored, this experience was very different in the Wellington branches. Shame tbh

I Was after a Digital Photo Frame as a gift for our 30th Anniversary.The staff were excellent.I purchased the frame and the staff member helped me set it up and showed me how to load the photos. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Only giving 2 stars because I felt so uncomfortable in this store (greatfulI was able to get what I was after though) I bought an appliance and I felt like me buying something is somehow inconvenient to the staff. Like why are you here we were just in the middle of doing nothing. Never felt that uncomfortable in any store. Just leaving this so these young girls can get better because that was really rude. People buying stuff pays for your income so get it right. Don't act like it's a huge inconvenience.

I bought an oven from them through my insurance and both the insurer and myself have been amazed at the poor service. I was firstly told one date when the oven was available, that date came and went and both myself and the insurer had no response to delivery questions. They delivered the oven with a morning notification for an afternoon delivery, meanwhile the insurer was told the oven was months away. Communication between the store and the insurance team was poor to say the least. Then there was a fault with the oven and it was days and days before there was any response to a technician being available. Now the oven has problems again, called the hotline and a job was lodged but due to poor communication between the customer services and the store again, we are without a technician for an extended period of time and all that the customer services can apparently do is apologise and email the store yet again. I cannot highlight enough the poor service and after delivery service, the poor communication and being left in the lurch with no idea of when there will actually be a technician scheduled to attend to the oven. It's probably best if I try to employ a technician privately but then this may not be covered by any insurance should something go wrong.

In store staff are great. The product I bought is very good. The so called Noel Leeming Technical Support in this instance was non existent. The man on the end of the phone told me that they do not hold a licence to deliver advice on my Eufy Security Camera. Oh but it gets better...I phone Eufy Australia...hold a very long time...I then get an automated prompt saying ..... .we may get back to you". Really! Oh and they mean it. Never heard from them.Fortunately I managed to get back to the local store having survived NL very messy 'front end' and a lovely staff member was able to assist me as she had first hand knowledge of the product. Thank you.To NL management ...your front end is messy. It always a barrier to service. Scrap it! Do offer Technical Support for all products you sell. Not just some of them."

Never any staff available. A good 5 to 10 minute wait to get served when the staff are busy in the shop dealing with customers who haven't bought anything yet. It's becoming a last resort to go here.

The staff are very knowledgeable about the technology. They are well presented, clean, and friendly. The store has a pleasant open layout. If I need assistance I can find it quickly. The salespeople are not at all pushy. The salespeople will give recommendations suitable to what you are looking for.

My lap top has been in for repairs for a month. 2 weeks ago, I rang the 0800 no. and was told the Oamaru store would ring back. They didn't. Just rang again and it was implied it might still be in the store and not even sent. Oamaru person not able to answer any questions. Seems to be no record in the system at all! Not impressed.
