My partner and I have been travelling around NZ in a van and unfortunately needed some last-minute emergency accommodation when travelling up the West Coast. Jodie at Alpine Country Motel met us with such kindness and ensured we had a comfortable room with everything we needed for our stay. If you find yourself in Hari Hari we definitely recommend this motel. Room is exactly as advertised and staff are welcoming and friendly.

From the moment we arrived, the friendly host made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The shower, and kitchen facilities especially coffee machine were particularly great. It's highly recommend for travelers looking for affordable and fantastic accommodations.

We got stuck in HariHari between two landslides. Unfortunately there were not enough rooms in the small community for the amount of tourists that got stuck there. Although all of Jodies rooms were already occupied, she went above and beyond to find us a place to spend the night. Jodie, we can not thank you enough for your help and your kindness that night!This is an amazing community with such lovely people. Seriously recommend staying here during your journey along the west coast.

Great property, a good stop between Nelson and the Glaciers or in our case Wanaka. The rooms look like they have recently been renovated, everything was in perfect condition, the coffee was great, the beds comfortable, wifi fast and spotlessly clean.

We booked a quarters suite and were pleasantly surprised. Super friendly staff messaged to arrange key pickup. The room was presented beautifully, clean and had everything we needed for the night. Shower pressure amazing, bed comfy and warm. I thought the main rd traffic would wake me but it was so peaceful even for a Fri night.

Jodie was very friendly and hospitable. We left a few things and she was more than happy to organise postage for us. Very much enjoyed our stay and our cosy room. Highly recommended
