Sadly I never got to visit New Zealand, Cambridge Stud(Sir Tristram and/or Zabeel), but I briefly met Sir Patrick Hogan in Melbourne - About 3 minutes of his time, but it was so good to get as much time as that. I just wish that I could have spent an hour or two there and while Sir Tristram and son's Grosvenor, Kaapstad, Octagonal and Zabeel are the great success stories, I have great memories of the day I backed My Tristram's Belle to win the VRC Oaks and still seeing Paddy's" name pop up on the pages of bloodstock catalogues every year as well as other great sons and daughters of horses born or bred at Cambridge Stud over the years. It was a great day the day Patrick Hogan bought Sir Tristram to stand in NZ."
