We love this place. A high light of our trip. Very peaceful, relaxing, comfortable rooms. We were totally spoiled by our hostess, Lesley.... what a treasure she is. We highly recommend Westwood Lodge.

Beautiful, comfortable and immaculately clean accommodation. Everything is considered and catered for in the rooms, and the main lodge has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Leslie does a superb job with hosting and provides a warm welcome.

Fantastic, immaculate cosy accommodation, especially in the main building with a magnificent mountains view from the beautiful & relaxing lounge. A great place to relax and enjoy the natures. We had an awesome stays and definitely will come back again. Highly recommended to experience it !

Kaz went out of her way to ensure our fleeting stay was enjoyable. The coach house room is spacious with a huge comfy bed and tasteful decor. There was a magnificent red rhododendron outside our unit! The underfloor heating in the bathroom added to our comfort as did the fruit and chocolates.Come to Frans Joseph, it’s awesome and Book direct for the best deal.Thank you Kaz

Warm, inviting, clean, well provisioned, prompt - overall very agreeable! Staff here are extremely hospitable and attentive, I couldn't be happier to have stayed here. Better experience here than I've had at five star hotels in Queenstown. Overall wonderful experience here.

Not the cleanest. Probably have staff problems like a lot of NZ businesses. Very poor breakfast.

A perfect alpine escape with plenty of creature comforts and a huge guest lounge by the fire, with a view of the glacier. Ashley was so warm and friendly, with plenty tips for local travelling! Highly recommend.

Helpful staff, great service, lovely breakfast, this was what I was looking forward every morning. Cute dogs they have to entertain us. Spacious room and comfortable, the only down side was there's no wifi or weak in the room.
