A cool, relaxed bush bar as a reward for those who walk the Able Tasman Great Walk. Good, cold drinks and great pizza.

Do not order anything for gluten free. They charge an extra $4 per pizza if you order gluten free and they cannot take into consideration your dietary requirements. They prepared my specifically ordered gluten free pizza on the same place as normal pizza’s and use normal flour (to prevent it sticking) on the worktop and the same rolling pin to roll out the pizza’s to prepare the dough for cooking. Then also not taking any care when slicing the pizza. I found the staff rude when I challenged this as I was saying that this wasn’t gluten free, due to cross contamination. I tried to ask them to remake it, which they would do, but they wouldn’t change how they prepared it at all, so I still would’ve eaten gluten if they had remade it. Waste of $30 for a gluten free margarita pizza and the rest of my group who ate it, said it was mediocre at best.

Fantastic pizzas! Most authentic I've tasted for along time outside Italy. Great chilled vibe. Be aware... Expensive, so if you have family be prepared. Check prices but around $30 per pizza. But beautiful fresh ingredients.

The pizza was good but the crust was a little overcooked for my taste. There is no table service, but the outdoor atmosphere was very relaxing. Perfect place to get a bite after a long walk.

Don't bother to dine at the awaroa restaurant , as food not cooked with any love, Thai chicken was store bought coleslaw with over cooked, dry, chewy inedible chicken. disappointing and unimpressed to go all that way to have a lousy meal.Can't imagine what tourists think.

Great pizza, amazing vibe! Stopping there was such a treat during our hike. Pizza can sell out pretty fast so probably best to plan to arrive there early. They have gluten free options too and local craft cider

Great place to stop off for some good food on the Abel Tasman Great walk! Good pizzas, beer, wine and coffee. A short 20 mins walk from the track and at low tide you can walk around to the next but through the low estuary and avoid walking up the hill. The perfect treat after 3 days of trail food!!

Great atmosphere in a fantastic setting.But if the guy making the pizza's would stop trying to be the coolest kid on the block and stopped flirting with all the foreign lady backpackers maybe it would take a bit less than almost an hour for a pizza to get made...especially considering that you were not that busy.
