Been here a couple of times and they made lots of improvements with the ambiance PLUS this guy with a nice goatie/beard who was serving us was really wonderful. We enjoyed our dinner because of his humour! 5-stars! Their steak and fries are the best!

Awesome steak and service, however the potato was overcooked and a little burnt. Wine was awesome as was local polytechnic cider. Cheese garlic bread and blue cheese dip also top notch.

Four if us recently had the pleasure of dining here. The venison shank was tender & in a delicious rich sauce. My rabbit pie was very tasty. Our friends had the goat and blue cod,which they really enjoyed. We'd love to go back and try the ostrich next time. We highly recommend this place for its tasty food & friendly service!

Great food, well presented and perfectly cooked. Very good, friendly service. Would definitely come back and would definitely recommend for dinner.

Easy to find. Parking out the back. Can reserve a table in advance. It wasn't warm in the restaurant which was disappointing as it was such a cold day. It made it not a very comfortable place to dine.The food was good. I can highly recommend the chicken and bacon burger, the seafood chowder was very filling, and the rabbit & mushroom pie was nice.It was a quick place to eat at.

I think they need more staff on as it was busy and so we had to wait quite a long while for them to take our order. We had booked also the toilets were locked which was a little odd. Food was delicious.

Sat outside for lunch as we had the doggos with us. Food good as usual. Improvements: Could do with heaters for outside tables and wooden chairs put inside if weather inclement so not wet/ damp to sit on.

12th Dec 2022Lunch was a good experience here. Gives me a cowboy town vibes with the cafe looking like a tin hut. Service is friendly and efficient.Will come back if I have a chance
