as far as we are concerned at the double glazing guys main glass works are the only people we use to repair and refurbish our leadlight and to make new ones for our clients

If you want authentic and traditionally made lead light windows or stained glass windows this is THE place to go in Wellington. Am restoring a heritage building in the city and dreaded commencing the process of replacing all windows - however Main Glassworks are hugely knowledgeable and professional and very easy to deal with. Easy to see why this company is in big demand and always busy - notwithstanding their busyness the owner managed to find time out of hours for a site visit - a great Newtown business and asset to Wellington.

Taking a stained glass window making class and came here for glass supplies, the guys helping us were lovely and helpful + super reasonable prices :) very pleasant experience

Neil from Main Glassworks replaced our leadlights on our front door. The craftsmanship was really outstanding, and it's clear that the job was done with much love and care. It looks really beautiful, and I would recommend these guys for any job.

Staff were a bit dismissive and rude. I almost walked out (I am too old to put up with that) but they warmed up a bit. I bought what I needed but probably will buy elsewhere in the future.

This place has the best leadlights I have seen. Very friendly staff, and a dog named banjo!
