Stumble upon this place when we stopped here for the toilet facilities. Beautiful scenery, although may not be the best view of Lake Wanaka.

Boundary Creek Campsite
One of the best campsite we’ve been to so far. Amazing views of lake Wanaka and mountains around. Book online and you get to go to a quieter spot. Otherwise you can just turn up, self register and pay. The on-site toilet is very clean and there is water. Just lookout for sand flies. We stayed two nights in a self contained caravan. Water is extremely cold but bearable for a 1 minute dunk.

Stunning viewer!! Few spots for motorhomes best spot is if you have a tent right by the water. Great toilets nice and clean. Minimal sandflies. Nice and cheap! Would recommend.

Lovely spot, but note campsite is currently closed for toilet upgrades as per note on DOC's website. Day use is permitted but we had to shimmy open a temporary gate which is blocking the entrance in order to drive down. Car was fine left overnight while we explored Albert Burn on the other side of the lake.

Boundary Creek Campsite
This is a really nice campsite set up by the Department of conservation. The toilet facilities are to well-maintained toilets with running water sinks. The various campsite locations are all very quaint and offer fabulous views of the lake. It was very crowded when we visited so this might be due to the summer season.

This is a well maintained DOC campsite and in the most perfect spot to camp.... so close to the Blue pools.... this is breathtaking country!

Beautiful picturesque spot just over from Lake Hawea on the northern part of Lake Wanaka. Can't beat it on a sunny calm day, but be prepared for sandflies!!

Fairly basic Doc campsite (with table, sink under a shelter) but nice location. Get filled up pretty quickly so get there early if you want a good spot.
