Wonderful express tour to Cathedral Cove, Ash was an awesome guide with heaps of knowledge of the area geographically and its history old and new. Deffinitely a must do if your in Whitianga!!

We booked a last-minute boat trip with Sea Cave Adventures and really enjoyed the experience. The owner, Les, was full of local information and jokes! The boat was small enough to go into many of the caves and we got to see Cathedral Cove from a unique perspective.Make sure you wear sun cream as you don't realise how hot it is when your speeding along in the boat with the wind in your face!

Excellent company to take you out and show you the sites in and around Cathedral cave.Our skipper Ash was a wealth of knowledge on the marine life and local history. As well as being excellent at boat handling. Best to pack sunscreen and a spray jacket.

Such a fabulous trip, Ash was so knowledgeable and the information he provided us about the area was perfect. Can highly recommend sea cave adventures. Shona and Ash took such great care of us, both with helping to book on a day with amazing weather, as well as giving us an incredible, closeup, look at their gorgeous coastline.Ash was a very capable skipper, and also extremely affable and kind to us and our four kiddos. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour private tour, filled with knowledge about Māori tradition and history from a local who clearly loves what he does.Thank you both so much for helping make our time here so memorable!

The boys took very good care of our group, we were the first boat out this morning and they greeted everyone with such enthusiasm. It was my son's birthday everyone had an impromptu sing along. Ash and Duane (du-one?) Knows Thier job and do it well keep it up and we will definitely be back to do other tours with them! 10 out of 10⭐

Wow! What amazing incredible coastal scenery and caves shown to us during a great fun boat tour. The water was so crystal clear (July) and the colours incredible. Our skipper was great and so skilled at manoeuvring the boat into so many caves and showing and telling us about all the scenery. Great way to see Cathedral Cove at the moment. The day we choose offered clear water as good as the South Pacific islands, caves that looked like the Blue Grotto, saw a seal, saw big snapper swimming around the boat and visited areas where movie scenes were filmed a and so much more. This is definitely one of the top boat trips I have experienced. Thanks

What can you expect from a cave tour: caves, caves and more boring caves, right? Believe me, Ash will break this stereotype. It was one of the best tour I’ve ever had! Very knowledgeable guide, amazing sceneries, cool boat.

After reading the reviews we can now see why the hype is around Ash - he made the experience what it was. Both Ash and Shona were exceptionally wonderful to deal with. We absolutely loved our boat ride and learning about the area, the sights were amazing it was certainly a trip highlight for us. We immediately felt comfortable and excited about our boat ride as soon as we met Ash, and after leaving we collectively agreed, Ash could give us a tour of a public toilet and we would walk away in awe.Highly highly recommend booking a spot with these guys, it's worth it ten fold.
