Stroll across the rainbow colored crossing onto the sunny side of K-Road and you will find one of Aucklands top of the line cafes. The organic & fair trade coffee is always on point but the bacon and eggs on their house made sour dough really is top notch.Be sure to try out the home made chilli sauce and take a croissant away with you for later, you can thank me later.James AshwinKakapo Business Sales

Quite dishonest on selling small flat whites @ $6 as a large. Management best go to specsavers for an eye test because the cafe standard of a large is not serving a small. I heard rave reviews of Liam's pastries, they are very delicious, and I've tasted similar. The food is pretty good, but it's the little things that make a cafe, and swapping out a small coffee as a large both in size and price is frankly, a bit below my coffee sack!!

Great croissant and flat white! All the servers were fun and hospitable EXPECT one who ruined the whole experience. I was early for a meeting but asked for a seat of two (my mistake). Then this server came to me and explained the rules of how long I could stay at a table. Okay, I got the rules. But then she said something like “we are not a buffet for you” in a condescending way that I couldn’t not but felt targeted and discriminated (at least treated with disrespect). I don’t want to assume anything but the ways I which I was talked against made me wonder if she would ever speak like that to a white (and elder) customer. Indeed, no. So if you want to experience micro-aggression (though great food and coffee), come here and sit for more than an hour.

The food is great. Services are amazing. Sometimes can be full. Coffee is also good.

Great service from the young guy. My chai latte was nicely spiced (with their own blend I believe, as the spices tasted different from other places'). Bread used in their grilled cheese toasts was great. Portions were large and I couldn't finish. Kimchi used is the legit Korean kimchi, not bland or under-fermented. Able to spend some leisurely time with the food/drinks and read some local newspapers. Unfortunately, no free wifi, and rather high charge of 2.4% for paying with a credit card.

We ended up ordering takeaway, but these were some of the best croissants we’ve ever had. The flat white and hot chocolate paired perfectly with them and the view of Auckland from Mount Eden! Would love to come back next time I’m in the city.

Strong and delicious coffee! The bread with different spreads was great and the Halloumi 10/10.

OMELETTE & PLAIN CROSSAINT - Recommended dishes here. The omelette is delicious, with the egg always cooked to perfection (not over cooked, yet a little soft inside) and the miso butter compliments it so well with it's salty miso smooth taste. The plain Crossaint is one of my favourites in Auckland. Crunchy on the outside, yet so buttery soft inside. When you time it well to when it freshly comes out, the steam from the Crossaint and the crunchiness is next level.Staff are always friendly and serves with a smile. The coffee they use is People's coffee, which reminds me of Wellington alot and is just delicious!Highly recommend this place!

The best scrambled eggs of my life (I had the breakfast crossaint) and a really decent coffee. Loved the hot sauce made in house, which you can by bottles of. The whole time we were here, loads of people visited for takeaway coffee and baked goods so clearly a popular place with locals!

Great food and coffee. Wonderfully friendly service. I had the kimchi (homemade) grilled cheese sandwich. Excellent and flavorful. Great cup of cappuccino too!
