Very good coffee. Best i‘ve had so far on my trip through New Zealand and it comes from this small Café! Plus they have a delicate salmon pie.

As first time visitors to Thames we stumbled on Villager Cafe in search of wifi and got so much more! We were welcomed like family and served up some delicious coffee and a mean mango smoothie. Its such a relaxing spot that we stayed for lunch too and enjoyed some excellent freshly made croissant sandwiches. We'll definitely come again when we're in the area. Our dog enjoyed all the attention too!Thanks for being great humans!

If you want a kind service and a good, friendly,happy vibe;I definitely recommend going here. Everything is self made,made with love and the owner always takes time to have a chat or help you out if you need anything.

We're Frenchies enjoying the beautiful NZ and met one of its beautiful inhabitants Jason who worked at the Villager cafe. Fantastic coffee and croissants! Which he makes himself.Such an awesome find.

A delightful little cafe situated in the closed end of Mary St. Easier to park and walk through from Pollen St. Friendly service, great coffee and tasty food, together with relaxed outdoor and indoor seating, this is a real find in Thames.

Great place for a coffee and some freshly baked treats. When I was around in the area, I went there twice.Jason is a great guy with good energy!Definitely would go back if I'm around.

A bit of a wait as we ordered cooked meals, but very delicious, cheerful and helpful staff, and lovely atmosphere.

I just went in for a pie and a coffee to take away but I wish I had had more time at that time because the owner was extremely kind and helpful, dedicated to providing an excellent service and good quality food and drinks. He also does a lot for bringing a good vide to the place. I highly recommend this cafe !!
