Anneke was my second call after the hospice after Dad passed! From the second she answered my call I knew everything would be ok and she was there to make sure everything was perfect! The personal touches from dalton and Anneke were just amazing! We painted dads casket in maroon after his fave footy team and Anneke printed awesome white stag stickers for it! Thank you once again for your supreme support during a terrible time for us! You’ll be forever In our hearts!

An absolute amazing team. Took great care of Josh and helped mum through all the planning. Really did an epic job with everything, casket, Josh's appearance, transfers, slide show and delivering Josh back to mum in a themed urn.They also don't charge the earth. We were expecting costs to be double what they invoiced, due to all the work they put into everything they did for us.Thank you so much team

How true is the saying that really does become a reality of “there is always a reason why we meet the people that we do. These people are not meant to last for the long road ahead. These people arrive at a time when you need them the most. Distinct Funeral Services (DFS) – Kath, Anneke and Dalton – were “the right people that came at a time when we needed them the most”. My husband Brent and I embarked on our very difficult journey on the 3 March 2021 - when my husband was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Without a doubt dealing with a disease that was not curable and only manageable was quite the challenge. Before my beautiful husband lost a long and arduous battle for 26 months after his diagnoses – he was such a meticulously organised man that he knew what we needed to do and began preparing for the inevitable. Brent engaged the services of DFS and knew almost immediately that we would be in the very BEST of hands. Anneke and the team of DFS were with us every step of the way – their guidance, their support, their knowledge, and professionalism in the handling of my husband’s memorial service was seamless and effortless. Let’s face it! The concept of caring for a very much-loved and sick spouse was mammoth. DFS took the “mammoth” out of the memorial/funeral process for us and shouldered all the intricate complexities involved to meet our every request. Thank you, team, so much for my husband’s farewell – it was phenomenal and nothing short of amazing. I would like to give a special mention to Kath and Dalton. Kath – from only having had two conversations with you – I felt your warmth, your empathy, and a connection instantly which was what I absolutely needed at such a tender time, and Dalton – your technical skill and abilities were profound – you are a genius for the fabulous work you did for my husband’s farewell. Again - nothing short of amazing. On behalf of my husband, my husband’s children and their families from our hearts thank you DFS – we appreciate you so much.
