Good selection and helpful staff. A little bit upsale-y and products are often cheaper elsewhere. Good spot for last minute gifts.

Nice collections of books, stationery, magazines, and things. Looks very quiet, though. Staff members are friendly and attentive. Car parking are off-street, so can be challenging most of the time. The area is nice as there are plenty of other shops nearby so you can get all of shopping done in one go.

Really enjoy Whitcouls! Incredible variety, stationery, gifts, books, everything! Also the only store in Nelson that I've managed to find that sells refill ink cartridges for fountain pens. Great service and very reasonable pricing.

I Love coming here for helping My Sons choose Presents for each other for Birthday's, and buying their Friends' Presents . Great Staff. They're really helpful, knowledgeable and on to it about what's trendy etc . They have a Specials" / Reduced items table down the back. They sell a huge variety of quality items. Wheelchair friendly ramp inside store. Huge Carpark out the back

Was disappointed with the service & the unclear discounts in the store. It is very miss leading. I wanted a refund and would only give a gift card when I hadn’t even left the store.

Disappointed with service. Same shop brought one item from one end of shop & wasn't asked about club card so didn't get points & then brought another item from other end of same shop & was asked & got club card points but when asked to get points from minutes ago purchase wasn't able to even though I had the receipt ( had to be sent to head office to get them). Commonsense out the window. Suggest training is done & processes are updated
