I’m not sure why anyone would give The 3 Fishes anything but a 5 star rating and the two reviews here that say the portions were small are so wrong! I’ve attached photos - note lime and lemon wedges for scale. We had the Salmon spring rolls and the fish and chips (they prepare it three ways-ours was grilled) and everything was delicious. Fish was fresh and succulent. Prices are reasonable.

What a treat to have fish and chips from The 3 Fishes. Nathan has such a welcoming personality and the meal was still warm and crisp in its container by the time we got home. We definitely recommend The 3 Fishes for freshness and affordability.

Definitely recommend for your local fresh fish experience, beautifully cooked & generous portions of fish & chips + real deal homemade tartare.The pickled fish with bread & salad was delish - wow!

one of the best pieces of fish i’ve tried, so perfect and crispy. and the curry sauce was hot and good texture. amazing service too, a really nice guy.

Just off the main road through Ostend. These are arguably expensive fish and chips but so worth it. You definitely get what you pay for. They are well above the generic fish and chip shop offering. Honestly the best f & c meal I can recall having. Wonderful customer service, beautifully prepared and presented, and they tasted as good as they looked.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal at 3 Fishes and Nathan, the host, was welcoming and very helpful. I chose his favourite fish which was just lightly floured with his wonderful caper sauce, Just wonderfully fresh. The chips were excellent. Great to get lemon to squeeze on top. The mushy peas were better than the ones we used to buy as kids and the raw fish - to die for! It is now my very favourite place to get fish and chips - anywhere!

Amazing Fish and Chips! A little hidden spot on Putiki Road, best in business on the island. Worth the venture from wherever you are, highly recommend, 100/10.
