great walk from 17th Ave, tauranga, between 12 to 16 km, lots of native wildlife and bush.

Nice flat and popular walk, cycle, run circuit that takes in Mauao, harbour, city, wetland/boardwalk, small creek, and lush bush experiences in the one 9km circuit. The path surface is very compacted and looks well maintained. There are a few entry and exit points that you will see on your way around. The most popular entry/exit pt being the Daisy Hardwick section on Maxwells Rd, Otumoetai. If you're an instagrammer or keen photographer, you will love the numerous opportunities at golden hour here. I especially love the lush Daisy Hardwick and boardwalk sections when the tide is in. A great family walk.
